The Approved Code Scheme Annual Report 2024 is now available. The report provides a detailed overview of the scheme’s progress throughout 2024, reflecting how the scheme continues to raise standards, protect consumers and support trusted businesses.
Highlights from this year’s report include:

Welcoming new Code Sponsors, including ARK Insurance and Architects Certificate

A refreshed brand identity and the launch of a dedicated Approved Code Scheme website, making it easier for consumers to identify approved businesses through our searchable directory

Continued delivery of fair outcomes for consumers, with over £2 million recovered through the Alternative Dispute Resolution processes

Expansion of the scheme, now covering £55 billion of consumer spending covered by a Code of Practice and representing more than 40,000 business members

Stronger engagement with Government, industry, and the public to raise awareness of the role Approved Codes play in ensuring higher standards and consumer confidence
